Volunteer Opportunity: 2025 Point In Homeless Census
January 27 - February 1
Your help is needed with the 2025 Point in Time (PIT) Homelessness Census. Having an accurate count of the number of people experiencing homelessness in Manatee County is important. Funding allocated to organizations in Manatee County (i.e., Turning Points and other non-profits) is determined through the data collected by the PIT Census.
PIT takes place January 27th through February 1st with volunteers surveying individuals at Turning Points and other locations “Asking them where did you spend the night of January 27th plus other questions”. All data is collected via an app from your smart phone or tablet, a mandatory 1 hour training session will show you how.
